The Formula
Wall Area = 2 × (Length + Width) × Height
Ceiling Area = Length × Width
Net Area = Wall Area − (Doors × 21) − (Windows × 15) + Ceiling
Sheets = Net Area ÷ 32 (rounded up)
Ceiling Area = Length × Width
Net Area = Wall Area − (Doors × 21) − (Windows × 15) + Ceiling
Sheets = Net Area ÷ 32 (rounded up)
Each 4×8 sheet covers 32 square feet. Tape, compound, and screws are estimated proportionally based on total area.
